The Nukeproof Mega is an enduro bike built on the tenets of balance, predictability, and absolute speed. Originally conceived as the downhiller’s trail bike, it was purpose-built to conquer the legendary MEGAVALANCHE race in France and spawned a new category of bike that would be known as Enduro forever more .
Over the past decade, the Mega has earned its reputation as a race-winning machine — with multiple Enduro World Series stage wins and four overall EWS titles to its name. It’s the evolution of relentless development and refinement, shaped by the feedback of world-class racers and dedicated riders alike.
Now in its fourth generation, every detail of the Mega has been optimised for speed, control, and efficiency — built to go flat-out, wherever the trail leads.

The latest Nukeproof Mega is built around a 6061 T6 aluminium chassis engineered to achieve the ideal balance of strength, stiffness and durability. Every element of the frame, including all forged parts, has been designed with precision to deliver the planted and predictable feel expected from a race ready enduro bike.
The use of hydroformed tubing and advanced welding techniques ensures exceptional reliability without adding unnecessary weight. The result is a frame made to handle the toughest trails in the world while remaining easy to maintain and service, making it the perfect choice for privateers and racers who demand both performance and longevity.
🚴Optimized Geometry and Suspension Kinematics
The Nukeproof Mega’s geometry and suspension have been refined to balance stability, predictability and outright speed. Built around Nukeproof’s latest Horst link system, the kinematics are tuned to be supple off the top for small bump sensitivity, with strong mid stroke support for cornering and pumping, and a progressive end stroke that maintains control on big impacts.
Optimized anti squat keeps pedalling efficient on climbs while preserving a lively, planted feel on descents. Complementing this is Nukeproof’s Long, Low, Slack and Steep geometry philosophy. Each size uses a dynamic saddle offset and size specific seat tube angles to place the rider in an efficient and comfortable pedalling position. The result is a chassis that climbs with precision, descends with confidence and remains balanced at race pace, ready to perform between the tape and beyond.
🚴Design Features
The Nukeproof Mega is engineered from the ground up to make every ride and every maintenance task straightforward. Practical details prioritise real world use, with room for a full size 750 ml water bottle inside the front triangle and an accessory mount under the top tube for tools or spares so essentials stay close at hand. The frame provides mud clearance for tyres up to 2.6 inches, allowing consistent speed in harsh conditions.
Built to last, the Mega uses MAX bearings throughout for durability and smooth performance in all weather. Accessible hardware, sensible Allen key sizes and laser etched torque markings make servicing clear and repeatable. To keep everything protected and quiet, the frame features 3D contoured rubber guards on the down tube, seatstays and chainstays. Every feature serves a bike that is fast, functional and tough enough for the world’s hardest trails.
