If your order arrives and it is not right, we'll fix it, NO NONSENSE, we promise.

We understand that stuff was ordered wrongly, or it just doesn’t look like what you expected.  No worries, we will return your purchase.  Just do us a favor and keep the products in a condition so that we can resell it again and make someone else happy.

In more formal words, you can return any new, unused and unaltered item within 30 business days of receipt of your item.  We will issue a full refund to your original payment method.  Just treat the item with care and in its original packaging, and appropriate for a resale.  

And informally said:  treat your returns in such way that if you purchased and received your own returned item, you had been a very happy customer.

Zeitgeist wants you to be confident you can buy and return your purchases with minimal effort, quick and easy.  We are happy to take back what didn’t fit, what didn’t look right, or what wasn’t manufactured up to your expectations.

In this way, we don’t have to throw products away that could have been used.  All secondary financial reasons aside, we don’t want to waste our environment by potentially dumping returned items that could have been used by someone else or create more packaging efforts than we have to.

For matters of formality and legal purposes, please follow the rules below:



Reliable, Fast, and On Time

Time is of essence.  We process orders with incredible speed.  All our order communication is automated, fast paced, and translated directly into actions at the warehouse.  Goods go out quickly, reliably, and well packaged for the very next available delivery pick up time at highest possible accuracy and fill rates.

When you place your order, our goal is to ship your order on the same day, securely packaged, and as best as possible.  However, due to the high turn over of products and goods, there are limits to doing so without loosing such accuracy, our inexpensive service, and the well packaged way of shipping our goods, etc.

For that reason, we have to place a cut off time for same day shipping orders at:


If you need to ship something on the same day after these hours, we can do so for a $5 charge to your account per order, which is a great option for those orders that just have to go out that same day; and on all other orders, let’s both save a few bucks and work with the times at hand.


Return Policy

Refund Policy

Returned products must be in new, unused condition and include the original box and/or packaging with all tags included.  

Once your return is received and inspected by Zeitbike (usually within 24 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to be posted to your account.

For wire transfer payments, if that was accepted, all refunds will be issued to store credit.

You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with getting your order back to our Utah warehouse.

Please do not abuse this policy by ordering multiple (more than 2) of the same or similar item with the intention of returning the majority of your order. Please contact a Zeitbike team member, if you are unsure of sizing or application for any items prior to placing your order, and we will be happy to help you narrow it down!

See below for instructions on where/how to get your return order back to us. Items should not be shipped back to the manufacturer; all returns need a RA (Return Authorization) number and will need to be returned to our Zeitbike warehouse in Utah.


Return Shipping Options

You have the option of using the carrier of your choice to return your order to us. We recommend shipping with a method, which includes tracking and insurance for your return shipment.

For customers in the contiguous 48 U.S. States, Zeitbike provides the option of printing out a pre-paid UPS shipping label for a fee of $7.45. This fee will be deducted from your total refund amount.

All shipments must be made prepaid; packages shipped COD will be rejected.

Any Refused, Undelivered, or Abandoned package will be subject to a $10 Service Fee.



Need to make an exchange? After you process your return, simply place a new order for the exchange merchandise. That means you'll claim the inventory and get your new gear fast!

If you use your ZeitPoints cash that you have earned on an item, and then need to return the original item, the ZeitPoints cash, which was earned from the original item will be subtracted from your refund.

If your exchange order qualifies for our free ground shipping offer, it will be applied. Yet, you are still responsible for return shipping on your original order back to us.

Craigslist, eBay and online forums are excellent resources if you have a used item you do not want that can no longer be returned to Zeitbike.


Used or Damaged Merchandise

Any merchandise, which has been "taken out for a ride" is considered used and cannot be returned. We encourage you to walk on your carpet in your shoes and to try your gear on indoors before heading out on the bike.

Any merchandise or parts, which shows signs of use (such as wear, bugs, dirt, smell, pet hair, scuffing, mounting, party, hamburgers, pot or beer, etc.), or otherwise is in a condition other than it was received, cannot be returned.


Apparel and Lubricants/Cleaners

Apparel items must be packed in their original garment bag (or equivalent plastic bag protection or fine boxing and paper layers) and include all original tags. The plastic bag or cardboard box protects the item from the outer, bigger cardboard box.  Items packaged without this protection most likely will arrive scuffed and will be returned to the customer.

Cleaners and Lubricants must be shipped back in their original bottle, box and include all fluids.

Shades and sunglasses shall not have any dust or dirt on them, as that is a sign of usage. We need the original case, all the little content, and the outer cardboard box.

Un-used items that are returned with missing or damaged packaging, tags, components, or hangers may be returned to the customer or subject to an additional processing fee of up to 20% of the merchandise cost based on the availability of those missing or damaged components.


Electronics, Hard Parts, Tools, Tires

Any electronic which has been removed from packaging or manufacturer seal broken is non-returnable.

Any part, which has been installed or shows signs of attempting to be installed on a bike is non-returnable.

Any Tool or Chemical that has been opened or seal broken is non-returnable.

Open box items for which the packaging has been destroyed are not returnable.


International Returns

International shipments should be marked as a "Merchandise Return" with a carrier that does not levy brokerage fees. Customer is responsible for any applicable brokerage or customs charges.

Any items shipped COD or having additional brokerage fees that are charged to Zeitbike upon delivery will be rejected.



Each manufacturer has its own warranty policy. Zeitbike will assist customers with their warranty; however Zeitbike does not provide any direct warranty on any item sold.


Order Cancellation / Modifications

If you change your mind, act quickly! We turn around and process orders extremely fast.

Orders can be modified or cancelled only while their status is labeled "In Process." Once an order has been "Sent to Warehouse," it cannot be cancelled or modified, as the order has been processed by our warehouse and we are awaiting tracking information.


Warranty Returns:

Most manufacturers offer an additional warranty period, which covers against merchandise defects. To determine warranty requirements for a specific item, please contact the manufacturer or contact us for assistance.

Please note warranty processing may take 4-8 weeks and will be subject to the individual manufacturer's policies and discretion. Manufacturer warranties do not cover defects determined to be caused by normal wear or due to customer negligence.


Damaged Goods:

Please let us know ASAP if any goods arrive damaged. Please keep all original shipping containers and take pictures if possible. Damaged goods claims are handled through the shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS). We will assist our customers in these claims. We only ask that customers be patient as sometimes this process can take longer than any of us would like!


Returns Process:

You can request a return authorization number (RMA#) (aka Return Merchandise Authorization) online at or you may also initiate a return by calling one of our team members at 877-612-2212

  • Step 1: Click "Login / Register" or “My Account” (if you are already logged in) at the top of the web page. Once you are within the “My Account” area of the website, click on “My Orders” on the left-hand side of the page and find the order in question and click “View Order”.
  • Step 2: Select the item(s) you would like to return from your order and be sure to choose the reason for returning each item.
  • Step 3: Select your return shipping method and follow instructions.
  • Step 4: Please print your Return Authorization form and include it with each shipment back to Zeitbike.  You have 30 days from the day the RMA is issued to return your merchandise. So, please be sure to print and ship at your earliest convenience. Please do not tape anything to the original product packaging! We need to get all products (and their packaging!) back in new condition.  Place all merchandise in a shipping box; you may use the original shipping container.  However, please DO NOT use the manufacturer's product box as the shipping container!  It will arrive damaged, and the package will be rejected by our returns department.

Please retain your return tracking information. Zeitbike is not responsible for packages lost during return shipment. You will receive a confirmation email from Zeitbike when your return is processed which will include the full details of refund credited.
